Michael N. Abdo was appointed Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Community Financial System, Inc. and Community Bank, N.A. in July 2022. Mr. Abdo has been with the Company since 2013, serving first as Associate General Counsel and from January 2020 to July 2022 as Senior Vice President & Senior Associate General Counsel.
Prior to joining the Company in 2013, Mr. Abdo served as an associate with Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft in its New York City office, with a focus on commercial and financial service litigation.
Mr. Abdo is a graduate of University at Buffalo and Syracuse University College of Law.
